Orders and Delivery

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship to most countries served by our current checkout and shipping setup. We are currently unable to deliver to Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. How long will my order take to arrive?

United States: we normally dispatch your order on the next business day. DHL Express then typically takes 1–3 business days after dispatch. Delivery times are estimates and can vary because of customs processing, carrier conditions, severe weather, peak periods, remote addresses or other factors outside our control.

Delivery times for other destinations vary. The available service and estimate for your address are shown at checkout.

Which shipping carriers do you use?

For United States addresses, we use DHL Express. For other destinations, the carrier depends on the address and service available at checkout and may include DHL Express, UPS, Bpost International or DPD.

Are import duties included for US orders?

Yes. For United States orders, import duties are included in the price, so no additional import duties are due on delivery.

When is shipping free to the United States?

Shipping to United States addresses is free from $150. Orders below the threshold are charged according to the delivery rate shown at checkout.

Where are online orders shipped from?

Orders placed through Suwada1926 are fulfilled from Belgium. We do not operate a public showroom or local-pickup point.

Products

Where are the products made?

Suwada's own precision tools are made in Sanjo, Niigata Prefecture, Japan. We also offer selected products from other makers. The relevant product page is the best place to check the maker, origin and product-specific information for an individual item.

Who made my product?

Suwada tools are made and finished by the craftspeople at Suwada Blacksmith Works in Sanjo, Japan. For products from other makers, please refer to the individual product page for the maker and origin information available for that item.

What legal guarantee applies to my purchase?

Products are covered by the legal guarantee and other mandatory consumer remedies applicable to your purchase. If you believe an item is defective or does not conform to the contract, contact us at info@suwada1926.com. Further information is available in our Refund Policy.

Returns and Gifts

Can I return an item?

Eligible distance purchases can generally be returned under the conditions described in our Refund Policy. Some sealed personal-care products are subject to hygiene-related return restrictions once unsealed.
