The complete SUWADA steak setting in matte Nitro steel
This three-piece set pairs SUWADA's straight-edged steak knife with its purpose-designed fork and a stainless-steel cutlery rest. The matte finish keeps reflections low and gives the set its most restrained, industrial character.
What changes at the table
- The knife slices rather than saws: its sharpened, non-serrated edge is designed for a clean cut through steak.
- The fork is shaped for the mouth: SUWADA thins the edge so it feels smoother against the lips and tongue.
- The rest creates a complete place setting: knife and fork can be lifted off the table between bites.
How the matte finish feels visually
Matte steel absorbs more light than the brushed and mirror versions. It is the quietest of the three finishes and makes the sculpted shapes of the fork and knife more obvious than their reflections.
