The complete SUWADA steak setting in brushed Nitro steel
This three-piece set combines SUWADA's straight-edged steak knife, matching fork and stainless-steel cutlery rest. The brushed finish gives the steel a fine directional grain: less reflective than mirror polish, but more luminous than matte.
What you feel and notice in use
- Clean slicing: the knife uses a sharpened, non-serrated edge instead of teeth.
- Smooth fork profile: the fork is thinned at the edge to feel smoother against the lips and tongue.
- Balanced visual finish: brushed steel shows the material without the high reflections of a mirror surface.
Why the set is different
SUWADA approached the knife and fork as cutting and eating tools rather than decorative flatware. The forms, edge geometry and finish are produced in Japan from Nitro steel, with the cutlery rest completing the setting.
