Blacksmiths in Suwada's forge place two kinds of steel together to make the first material for the Japanese money clips. They hammer them at temperatures over 1000 degrees Celsius to bond them.
Skilled polishers shape and polish them by hand. They bring out the hidden uniqueness of each piece.
