Handmade in Japan. The processes of shaping and coloring the coasters happen in the artist's lab.
It is different from painting. It is a traditional technique that utilizes the corrosive nature of copper and brass. By using natural ingredients and heat the artists develop playful patterns, and textures.
One by one, the items pass through the processes, and as a result each pattern is as unique as a fingerprint.
The coasters have a thin polymer layer at the bottom. Acting like a protective layer it helps with stacking them and protecting your table.
