The most polished version of SUWADA's steak setting
The mirror-polished set is the highest-finish expression of SUWADA's steak knife and fork. The same straight-edged Nitro-steel knife and purpose-designed fork are polished to a highly reflective surface and paired with a stainless-steel cutlery rest.
What stands out in the hand
- Highly reflective steel: the surface changes constantly with the room, table and light around it.
- Clean straight edge: the knife slices rather than relying on serrations.
- Smooth fork edge: the fork profile is designed to feel refined against the lips and tongue.
Why mirror costs more
Mirror finishing requires additional polishing beyond the matte and brushed versions. On an object with flowing curves, the surface makes every transition visible, so the finish demands more labour before the set is ready to leave SUWADA.
