A handmade kit, to create your own metal bonsai tree and place it at home.

You can change its appearance to suit your interior design and please your eyes while looking at it.

Taking on the challenge of creating art objects while reducing factory excess material was not easy.

Suwada uses about 30% of the material coming in. Only the best part of the steel goes into a product.

Instead of simply discarding the remaining 70% of forged steel, some of our metal artisans took the unused material to create forms representing the Japanese culture and heritage.

The art of metal bonsai started with the formation of a new division, Suwada's Art Lab.

Instructions Manual

This is a piece of decoration, best viewed in open spaces. If you want to create a wall that serves as a background for video calls or photography you can arrange multiple trees on different shelves and create an interesting view. Bonsai art is about representing nature on a small scale. Metal bonsai is about representing the real tree through a different material.

A little rust is normal, and part of the design. It is meant to showcase the growth of the tree's bark and its mellow aging as a natural process. This piece will last for many decades.
