SUWADA Cuticle Pusher is a double-ended stainless-steel tool for routine care around natural nails. It is designed to gently move softened cuticle material away from the nail plate and lift small amounts of visible non-living residue that remain attached to the plate.
What it is for
The living proximal nail fold should not be cut or scraped. The thin keratinized cuticle that adheres to the nail plate is non-living material. Work only where you can clearly see that material and use light pressure.
Two working ends
- Spoon-shaped end: used flat against the nail plate to gently push softened cuticle material away from the nail surface.
- Curved narrow end: helps lift and clear small amounts of adhered non-living cuticle material from the nail plate. Do not use it to cut or dig into living skin.
How to use
- Start with clean nails and a softened cuticle area.
- Hold the tool at a shallow angle and use light pressure.
- Work slowly on the nail plate, stopping before living skin.
- Use the narrow end only on clearly visible residue attached to the nail plate.
- Stop if you feel pain or see bleeding, redness or swelling.

Unlike the nippers—which are simply flawless—the case is vastly overpriced; the cost of three cases equals the price of one pair of nippers. Deep frying chicken or shrimps with oil needs a lot. It makes sense to re-use it again the oil for next time. Hence we find this a very utilitarian item of importance, which helps in re-using the oil. It also comes with a filter. The filter keeps the over-fried fritters out of the oil.
